Author: I met a number of estate agents and brokers in recent months and I am not surprised to see social media as a waste of time. Do not get me wrong, I found a few that need to get it, assumed the risk and configuration of the virtual office, and even open accounts with Facebook and Twitter. Some use these social networks, and some say only that they have used effectively here in Canada, my research shows that most do not practice what it preaches.
It makes recommendations and suggests radical approaches, such as the prospect of an agent and wasted an enormous amount of time with tire-kickers to open events. You look at me with puppy dog eyes and say they could not do it, I do not know how this sounds like too much work. I think it is more difficult way of doing things now, but is taken!
